Urgent Appointments

To request an urgent appointment, please call the practice on 01384 422591.

Routine Appointments

Requesting an appointment

You can request an appointment with a doctor or other healthcare professional online (Monday to Friday).

We will respond to requests within 2 working days during opening times.

You can also:

  • phone us on 01384 422591 (for urgent problems, telephone the surgery before 10:30am)
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.

Nurse or healthcare assistant appointments

You can request a routine appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant up to 2 weeks in advance.

We will respond to requests within 4 working hours during opening times.

You can also:

  • phone us on 01384 422591
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist
  • use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book an appointment, screening test or vaccination

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.

Get medical advice from a doctor or nurse

To ask a non-urgent medical question:

We will respond within 2 working days during opening times.

Telephone consultations

If you require telephone advice please ring after 11:00am and this will be passed on to appropriate staff, nurse/doctor.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

Please telephone us on 01384 422591, before 10:30am on the same day. Home visits are reserved for housebound patients only.

Please note that doctors can see approximately five patients at the practice in the same time it takes to do one home visit, so please try to come to the practice where possible.

Extended Access

In the Stourbridge, Wollescote & Lye area practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments. If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call the practice on 01384 422591 and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.

Your appointment may be with another practice in the Stourbridge, Wollescote and Lye area and may not be at your registered practice.
